The Account Manager will be responsible for nurturing and managing key customer relationships while identifying and developing new business opportunities. Successful candidates will possess a deep understanding of metal stamping, tooling, and automation, along with proven success in automotive sales, customer relationship management (CRM), and business development.

The Account Manager will be responsible for nurturing and managing key customer relationships while identifying and developing new business opportunities. Successful candidates will possess a deep understanding of metal stamping, tooling, and automation, along with proven success in automotive sales, customer relationship management (CRM), and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and new markets.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
- Understand customer needs and challenges, offering tailored solutions to meet their technical and business requirements.
- Regularly monitor and report on customer account performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and quality service, addressing any issues that may arise.
- Manage contract renewals, pricing adjustments, and ongoing negotiations to optimize account profitability.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and product demonstrations to prospective customers.
- Assist with development and execution of business development plans to expand the company's market presence.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote ArtiFlex's solutions and build relationships with potential partners.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales pipelines, and account activities are maintained in SalesForce.com.
- Use data to analyze sales trends, forecast revenue, and track business development performance.
- Collaborate with marketing to create targeted campaigns and outreach initiatives based on SalesForce.com and data insights.
- Provide regular reports on account status, business development progress, and analytics to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Successful business relationships with General Motors
- 5+ years of experience in account management and/or business development, preferably in the automotive metal stamping, tooling, or automation industries.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technical specifications related to metal stamping and tooling.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing business relationships.
- Experience managing and utilizing CRM systems to drive customer engagement and business growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Willingness to travel to client sites, industry events, and company locations as required.
