Client: Banking
Position: DevOps Engineer
Duration: 12 months
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
- This role involves configuration and maintenance of repos, builds and deployment plans components for multiple releases.
- As a DevOps Engineer he/she will apply industry accepted practices for developing & monitoring the applications as per the Design Document and helping in implementing them to production environment using Agile Methodology.
- Experience in DevOps - Build/Deploy, Cloud Knowledge, Container
- Container/cloud experience
- Java background
- Experience with automation/ integration tools like Jenkins
- Knowledge of major cloud service providers, like AWS, Azure etc.
- Good understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Programmable Infrastructure), and how you can achieve that by using tools like Puppet, Chef, Ansible etc.
- Hands-on knowledge of software containerization platforms like Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker
