Job Summary:

The Functional Consultant's main responsibility is to implement our revenue management applications into the customer's ERP focusing on Microsoft D365. You will be responsible for providing high-quality business and software implementation expertise to Flintfox customers and support the customers either on-site or remotely during the analysis, design, build and deploy project stages of the engagement.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for the analysis, design, testing, go live cutover implementation and post go live Support of Flintfox applications on ERP projects
  • Leads requirements gathering, solution design and fit gap analysis with the Customer business process owners and subject matter experts providing leadership in business process management activities
  • Works closely with the Customer and any implementation partners to ensure the design for the finance, accounting, supply chain and related business operations are sound and work well with the solutions being implemented throughout the project as a whole
  • Utilizes the Flintfox Project Methodologies aligned with its partners to ensure the project is done in a repeatable manner and of the expected quality and timeline as guided by the Project Manager
  • Train and create documentation for subject matter experts on configuration and functionality to empower customers to use Flintfox effectively
  • Lead analysis and design workshop meetings. Demonstrate the intended design
  • Assist with data conversion and support data migration activities
  • Create and adhere to go live cutover tasks and schedule
  • Act as a conduit between Customers and Flintfox Technical teams
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Maintain a high-level overview of technical competence and domain knowledge of ERP products focusing of Microsoft D365 particularly Finance and Operations
  • Triage and enable resolution of managed support queries post go live
Requirements:
  • Great oral and written Communication on what benefits are to be realised by implementing ERP solutions.
  • 5+ years of previous experience with Microsoft AX and D365 software implementations, in the capacity of a Functional Consultant
  • Hands-on experience with large scale, D365 F&O implementations
  • Demonstrable functional expertise in Pricing, Trade & Logistics and Finance modules
  • Demonstrable business analysis experience
  • In-depth expertise on Order to Cash and Procure to Pay modules
  • Understanding of financial operations and processes, including Chart of Accounts, Accruals, and Journal entries
  • Ability to write articulate clearly defined Business Requirements, Functional Design, Training materials and Solution Design Documents.
  • Great presentation and training skills
  • Analytical skills to understand an issue and articulate how to resolve it or hand it over with details on how to replicate the issue for the Technical team to resolve
  • Experience of testing ERP solution including writing test scripts
  • Project team player to ensure deliverables are delivered as expected
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Preferred Experience:
  • Have worked at a Microsoft Gold Partner delivering ERP solutions
  • Track record of high utilization of customer services
  • Microsoft Certified Professional Dynamics Certifications
  • IT Qualifications

  • Work Location: Home Office
  • Ability and flexibility to travel mainly throughout the US (Travel requirement - 10 to 15%)
