Maintenance Manager
My client, located in Troy, OH, is looking for a Maintenance Manager to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of preventative maintenance, CMMS, and ammonia refrigeration. Experience working in a food manufacturing environment is preferred. The Maintenance Manager will be a member of the management team and will report directly to the Plant Manager.
The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Manager is to oversee the maintenance and repair of all equipment in the facility. This includes preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency repairs. The Maintenance Manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance plans, managing the maintenance budget, training maintenance technicians, wastewater and plant infrastructure. Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. - Experience vs education OK
- minimum of 8 years of experience in maintenance, with 5 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- The candidate must be proficient in the use of CMMS software.
- Strong understanding of ammonia refrigeration.
- Experience mentoring, managing and leading a maintenance team
- US Citizen or Green card work authorization
- Overseeing the maintenance and repair of all equipment in the facility
- Developing and implementing maintenance plans
- Managing the maintenance budget
- Training maintenance technicians
- Responding to emergency repairs
