About the Role

Our talented team of Product Managers love to create new and improved technology driven customer centric experiences, with quality and at speed. They thrive on the challenges of building relationships with multiple stakeholders with different needs; managing multiple competing priorities; balancing speed of delivery with a perfect solution; sometimes needing to switch focus to achieve company goals. They make data-driven decisions and have a raw talent to work with product designers and developers to turn complex business problems into simple customer solutions. As part of the Product Management team, we are looking for someone with the above qualities who will shape and execute the product strategy for our portals across the Group. Our mission is to provide the different business teams with a portfolio of tools and features to offer a rich and engaging experience every day. This person will be responsible for helping to transform the product strategy into product delivery and will play a pivotal role in creating a seamless, consistent, and engaging end-to-end consumer experience.

In this role, you will own prioritizing customer needs, creating the roadmap, and facilitating day-to-day product discovery and delivery activities to achieve the team's committed key results. Working with a variety of stakeholders, product managers, designers, engineers, and QA team members, you will be accountable for continuously improving the user journey to accomplish our core business goals.
Ultimately your success will be measured by our customers' satisfaction as well as our core business goals and metrics.

About the Team

This role will sit within the Rewards Team of the Player Experience product organization. At BetMGM, we offer a variety of benefits that celebrate and enhance our players' experience - including promotions, points, loyalty programs, VIP programs, and more. As a Product Manager on the Rewards team, you will help support our mission to build product experiences that excite users, recognize their loyalty, and ultimately keep them coming back.

Responsibilities

  • Articulate product strategy for your area of ownership, sell your vision to leadership, and champion a roadmap that inspires the business unit to deliver the strategy

  • Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog according to business and product strategy

  • Launch product initiatives with high confidence through mitigating risks and executing go-to-market plans with all relevant stakeholders

  • Develop detailed written requirements with acceptance criteria and negotiate trade-offs with engineering and design teams

  • Clearly communicate the performance of your product utilizing key communication tools like detailed mock-ups, user flows, and prototypes

  • Identify gaps between the current functionality and be able to recommend solutions

  • Partner with and serve as a liaison between Product Management, Marketing, IT, other internal partners to ensure products are meeting marketing strategies and objectives

  • Influence the product strategy, design solutions, and engineering decisions to best accomplish the intended outcomes

  • Manage competing requests from multiple groups while maintaining a strong attention to detail

  • Lead daily/weekly/monthly standups, planning, and grooming activities

  • Be accountable for delivering returns from product investments

  • Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies to best serve digital goals

  • Understand the competitive landscape - prescribe user research and competitive analysis to help support and frame our initiatives

Essential Functions

  • Must be able to stand or sit and operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods of time

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of product management experience, preferably with gaming

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Science/Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Database Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Digital Marketing, or related fields

  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems and communication platforms (email, SMS, Push, In-App)

  • Experience developing successful digital products across various platforms including web, apps, and connected devices

  • Experience creating and maintaining product roadmaps

  • Highly analytical and comfortable using a variety of reporting systems and tools

  • Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail

  • Excellent communication/presentation skills, with the ability to convey intricate ideas in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders and senior leadership

  • Ability to clearly describe the vision for our products as well as the ability to define clear requirements and use cases to support them

  • Demonstrate knowledge of the product development lifecycle and has a track record of delivering meaningful product and feature improvements

  • Experience as a relationship builder and a champion for transparency and collaboration

  • Proven track record of managing several priorities concurrently and capable of finishing them with minimal supervision

  • Willingness to travel occasionally domestically and/or internationally

  • Advanced command of English language

Additional Requirements (if applicable)

  • Master's degree or MBA in a relevant field

  • Prior experience with sports, casino, and/or gaming websites and mobile apps

  • Product Management certifications and/or coursework

  • Strong technical background - with the ability to have intelligent conversations with engineering

  • Providing examples of project requirements, user stories, or similar deliverables

  • Demonstrating a strong interpersonal skill set - being able to communicate with team members effectively and emphatically at all levels within an organization

  • Being an innovative thinker, someone not afraid to challenge the status quo and ask questions

  • Showing a true passion for this industry inclusive of sports, casinos, and entertainment

The annual salary range for this position is $102,080 to $140,360. Factors which may affect the starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for participation in a performance-based bonus plan.

Gaming Compliance & Licensing Requirements

As an online gaming company, BetMGM is required to comply with state gaming regulations which includes licensing obligations. Applicable employees must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency, although certain positions require licensing by multiple agencies. Failure to become licensed or maintain licensure with each agency as required for the role may result in termination of employment. Please note that the licensing process includes comprehensive background checks which may include a review of criminal records, financial history, and personal background verification.

In addition, candidates must comply with and support the company's responsible gambling policies, procedures and initiatives.

Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. The position is also eligible for an annual bonus.
