Industrial Security Specialist / Facility Security Leader

The National Security Sector's Mission Solutions Business Area at Leidos Inc. is seeking an Industrial Security Specialist / Facility Security Leader to be based in our Chantilly, VA facility. Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing and managing the industrial security program to ensure compliance with both company and customer security requirements.
• Interpret and apply security principles to adhere to mission-sponsor and physical security regulations, including NISPOM and applicable laws.
• Engage with all levels of management to ensure contract security compliance and oversee the Security Classification Specification (DD254) process.
• Conduct self-inspections, apply risk management techniques, and support safety assessments.
• Make critical security decisions related to high-value contracts and implement effective access controls.
• Administer security operations, including personnel processing, document control, audits, and incident reports.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree with 8-12 years of relevant experience or a Master's with 6-10 years of relevant experience.
• Certification as a Facility Security Officer with experience in secure facility administration.
• Thorough knowledge of DoD and IC security requirements, capable of applying NISPOM and related guidance.
• Familiarity with Access Control and Intrusion Detection Systems.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility & Polygraph is required.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with secure facility build-out projects.
• Accreditation as a Communication Security (COMSEC) officer.
• Experience with drafting subcontractor DD254s.
• Experience in developing security SOPs and emergency plans.
• Professional affiliations related to Industrial Security.

Pay Range: $78,000.00 - $141,000.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline and not a promise of compensation. Factors such as responsibilities, experience, and market alignment will be considered in extending an offer.
