Responsibilities:

Perform highly complex and demanding tasks dealing with analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of project assignments

Proactively contribute to the overall IT strategy via direct participation in tactical projects and specific user requirements

Define scope and requirements of new development to meet changing business needs

Provide knowledge-transfer to team members

Establish and manage project plans, keeping a disciplined view of scope, schedule and budget

Provide guidance to business constituents in developing training plans and materials

Perform complex Procure-to-Pay (FI-AP and SCM) SAP configuration changes that may have multi-module points of integration

Design, support, and troubleshoot complex interfaces/EDI transactions that use IDocs, text files, and XML files

Provide second-level user support, as well as drive improved user productivity through development and implementation of improved business process and technology solutions

Participate with constituents in business unit initiatives, tactics and strategies, for continued development and leverage of SAP

Responsible for development and execution of cross-system test plans and detailed test cases

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

Skilled SAP FI-AP functional expert, responsible for formulation and implementation of end to end Procure-to-Pay (PTP) business process scope and objectives for the SAP ECC system

Analyzes and evaluates existing and proposed solutions and recommends modifications to processes and procedures for solving business problems

Ensures integration within SAP and other technologies/systems and modules

Responsible for working with other technology and business resources to provide solutions consistent with corporate strategic (technology) direction

Works closely on SAP projects and production support tasks with key business and technical personnel, identifying and implementing automated or manual procedures or configuration changes with focus on standards, process simplification and the value of integration

Provides 2nd level after-hours SAP Production support coverage, when needed

Additional SAP experience in SAP Supply Chain Management and SAP-Ariba Procurement related functionality is preferred

Full system lifecycle experience with preference for at least two (2) full lifecycle implementations of end-to-end PTP functionality, from purchase order through to FI-AP remittance processing

Work effectively on a diversified team as well as independently, in pressure situations, with composure and tact

Facilitate interactive sessions to elicit requirements, design and functional specifications

Strong analytical, problem-solving, conceptual, and project management skills are required

Effective time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities is required; being proactive and self-motivated, is required

A customer-focused, service attitude, working with all levels of the organization, both technical and non-technical, is required

Advanced knowledge of application software tools, including presentation, spreadsheet, project management and word processing applications (e.g., Microsoft applications) is required

Strong developed interpersonal, written and verbal skills, including active listening, with an ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple business terminology is required

Excellent technical writing and system documentation skills are required

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

Prefer 8+ years of functional experience with SAP P2P, with knowledge of associated SAP data dictionary and common tables

Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus

Additional SAP experience in SAP Supply Chain Management and SAP-Ariba Procurement related functionality is preferred

In-depth knowledge of tax setup and archiving in SAP is a plus

Working knowledge of agile/collaboration and ITSM tools is preferred
