Job Description

Our client, a leading technology company, is seeking a Contract Test Automation Engineer to join their team. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be part of the Testing & QA Department supporting the embedded device and mobile automation teams. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Contract Test Automation Engineer

Location: Framingham, MA (Hybrid, 3 days on-site)

Pay: $52/h + Benefits (Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities

Develop and enhance automation frameworks for embedded and mobile devices

Conduct testing of embedded and mobile devices, focusing on Bluetooth connectivity

Coordinate technical solutions with development and offshore teams

Manage and maintain the test lab setup for automation

Ensure smooth CI/CD pipeline integration using Jenkins

Requirements

6+ years of Python automation experience, including PyTest

Experience in embedded device testing and mobile automation (Appium)

Strong expertise in framework development (4+ years)

Familiarity with Jira, Git, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)

Knowledge of Bluetooth communication and troubleshooting

Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
