Backend Java Developer - Microservices Architecture

Experience : 5 years Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies. - Build and deploy microservices architecture to ensure scalability and maintainability. - Implement RESTful APIs to expose backend services to frontend applications. - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to best practices. - Collaborate with frontend developers, data engineers, and other team members to deliver seamless user experiences. - Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues. - Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends. - Contribute to code reviews and provide constructive feedback. - Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance. Required Skills and Experience : - Strong proficiency in Java programming language, including core Java concepts, object-oriented programming (OOP), and design patterns. - In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot framework, including Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security. - Experience in building and deploying microservices architecture. - Hands-on experience with RESTful API design and development. - Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB). - Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving techniques. - Proficiency in unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito). - Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS. - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills (ref:hirist.tech)
