Lead DevOps Engineer - Google Cloud Platform

Job Title : Lead GCP DevOps Engineer (Minimum 5 Years of Experience). Location : Remote. Job Type : Full-Time. CTC : Max 35 LPA. Key Responsibilities : - Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Automate infrastructure deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar. - Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment. - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions. - Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud environments. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud solutions. - Manage GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Storage, and BigQuery. - Implement robust backup, disaster recovery, and security measures. - Stay up-to-date with GCP's latest features and DevOps best practices. Required Skills and Experience : - A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps with a focus on GCP. - Expertise in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), containerization, and orchestration. - Proficiency in infrastructure as code (i.e., Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager). - Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar. - Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. - Solid understanding of networking, DNS, load balancers, and firewalls in cloud environments. - Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Google Operations Suite. - Familiarity with cloud security practices and compliance standards. Preferred Qualifications : - GCP certifications (i.e., Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Google Professional Cloud Architect). - Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments. - Familiarity with big data tools on GCP like BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub. - Knowledge of Agile methodologies and collaborative DevOps practices.
