Cloud FinOps Architect

Job Description : Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced FinOps Architect to join solution development. As a FinOps Architect the primary responsibility will be to design and implement efficient financial operations processes and systems You need to identify mechanisms for cost optimization implementation of financial controls and develop strategic guidance rules on financial decision making for any cloud Requirement : - A strong customer first attitude with the ability to understand customers financial objectives and providing cost effective cloud solutions that align with business goals good knowledge and understanding of FinOps principles and Well Architected Framework - Strong analytical skills and a natural predisposition toward data driven decision making - Minimum 2 years of client project experience in managing FinOps for large enterprises and delivering million dollar cost optimization - Deep understanding of cloud cost models billing structures and financial forecasting - Create accurate budgets and forecasts for cloud spending based on business needs - Experience of working with hyperscalers like AWS Azure GCP and understanding of workload usage consumption patterns on cloud to drive cost optimization - Good knowledge and understanding of cloud services architecture best practices and commercial models - Hands on experience of performing Cloud spend analytics and providing recommendations on resource right sizing Reserved instances Spot instance recommendations etc - Experience of using cloud optimization tools like Trusted Advisor Cost Explorer or any 3rd party cost optimization solutions - FinOps Certified Professional from FinOps Foundation will be an added advantage - Ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders - Strong partnering teaming behavior to bring together diverse views - Excellent verbal written and presentation : 1. Customer Interactions : - Drive customer engagements to analyze their Cloud estate identify cost overheads and help with value realization and cost optimization - Become a trusted advisor to our customers and guide them with design and delivery of FinOps and governance strategies 2. Design and implement financial processes : - Design and implement financial processes that align with typical organizational goals including budgeting forecasting cost allocation invoicing and financial reporting - Design controls for compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices - Develop solutions architecture and evaluate architectural alternatives for private public and hybrid cloud models including IaaS PaaS and other cloud services 3. Cost optimization Management : - Design mechanisms for continuous monitoring of financial data to identify and implement cost optimizations across cloud - Analyzing spending patterns identification of cost saving opportunities and recommendation for optimizing costs without compromising operational efficiency 4. Systems Design and Implementation : - Collaborate with larger product development team to design and implement financial systems tools and technologies - Provide recommendations on software solutions that streamline financial operations improve data accuracy and enhance reporting capabilities 5. Propose Financial Controls : - Design controls and processes to ensure accuracy integrity and security of financial data Develop policies and enforcement procedure related to financial transactions data management and internal audit processes 6. Contribute to Product Development : Engage with LTIMs FinOps product engineering team and provide innovative ideas suggestions on feature enhancements Skill Matrix : 1.
