DevOps Engineer - Google Cloud Platform

Job Description : We are looking for a Google Certified DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying, automating, maintaining, and managing cloud-based production systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure efficient and reliable operations of our infrastructure. Key Responsibilities : - Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure on GCP. - Automate deployment, monitoring, and management processes using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Google Deployment Manager. - Collaborate with development and operations teams to build CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Google Cloud Build. - Monitor systems to ensure performance, availability, and scalability through tools like Google Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, and Grafana. - Troubleshoot issues in development, test, and production environments. - Optimize infrastructure costs by using appropriate Google Cloud services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and Cloud Functions. - Implement security best practices and maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory policies. Qualifications : Experience : 4-6 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering. Certifications : Google Certified Professional DevOps Engineer (required). - Hands-on experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker. - Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services and architecture. - Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g, Python, Bash). - Experience with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
