Senior Software Developer - Clojure

Job Title : Senior Software Developer Location : Coimbatore Experience : 8-9 years Gender : Male/Female About the Role : We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building technology solutions that drive our business forward. This position involves collaborating with a global team of engineers, working on the development and support of our APIs and occasional web components. You will be required to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient systems while working closely with offshore teams. Key Responsibilities : - Collaborate with global teams, particularly in Australia and Vietnam, to deliver high-quality software. - Design, develop, and maintain APIs and other necessary web components. - Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. - Take ownership of projects from initial request to final deployment and support. - Liaise with clients to confirm requirements and deliver software solutions that meet their needs. - Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration. - Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for systems and processes. Mandatory Skills : - Clojure or Functional Programming Languages - Kafka stream processing - Typescript - Java or other JVM languages - AWS (DynamoDB, SQS, Lambda) or similar cloud infrastructure - Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools - React or similar front-end frameworks (ref:hirist.tech)
