Technical Consultant - Dynamics 365 Business Central

Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer to join our team as a Team Lead for Dynamics 365 Projects. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, customization, and maintenance of Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) and NAV projects. You will lead technical initiatives, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with project managers to deliver high-quality solutions on time. Technology and Skills : - Installation and configuration of Dynamics NAV/BC systems. - Application customization, including custom solution design and development. - Proficient in C/AL and AL programming languages. - SQL scripting and report writing, including query development. - Web service development (inbound and outbound) for integrations. - Deep knowledge of the entire Microsoft Dynamics suite, with a focus on Business Central being a significant plus. Roles and Responsibilities : - Understand client requirements and assist the Project Manager or Delivery Manager in creating commercial and client proposals by estimating customization efforts. - Engage in pre-sales activities to gather technical requirements and provide feedback on potential solutions. - Lead the technical team in project execution, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions. - Mentor and educate developers within the NAV/BC practice on best practices and methodologies. - Collaborate with various stakeholders to bring together significant deliverables and work streams, ensuring an integrated solution. - Validate hypotheses and diagnostics from team members, testing insights and recommendations with senior management. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during implementation and customization. - Work closely with the Solution Architect to ensure that the overall design of solutions is technically sound and meets project requirements. - Maintain clear documentation of technical designs, customizations, and development standards. - Ensure compliance with internal quality assurance and change management : - Bachelors / master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 4-10 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 BC. - Proven experience in a technical lead role, preferably in Dynamics projects. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and tea (ref:hirist.tech)
