Senior Developer - Magento 2/Knockout.js

Job Description : Key Responsibilities : - Develop and customize Magento 2 front-end components using Knockout.js and Magento UI Library. - Implement advanced eCommerce functionalities with a focus on responsive, user-friendly design. - Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth functionality across the system. - Optimize front-end code for performance and scalability. - Lead and mentor junior developers, reviewing their code and providing guidance. - Ensure web development best practices, coding standards, and security principles. - Debug and resolve front-end issues, ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility. - Work closely with UX/UI designers to deliver seamless and aesthetically appealing user interfaces. - Stay updated on the latest Magento trends, innovations, and improvements. Required Skills : - Magento 2 development experience, especially with front-end UI components. - Expertise in Knockout.js and JavaScript. - Experience with HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, and modern responsive design principles. - Proficiency in RequireJS, jQuery, and AJAX. - Familiarity with Magento PHTML templates and XML layout structure. - Experience working with REST/SOAP APIs. - Knowledge of front-end build tools such as Gulp, Grunt, or Webpack. - Strong understanding of Magento's JavaScript initialization flow and data-bind. - Experience with version control tools like Git. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications : - Magento 2 certification. - Experience with Vue.js, React, or other modern JavaScript frameworks. - Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment. - Familiarity with GraphQL.
