Data Engineer - Python/SQL

Job Title : Data Engineer (Contract). Employment Type : Contract. Duration : 6 Months- or 1 Year. Location : Pune/Bengaluru (Work From Office/Remote). Shift Timings : General Shift. Overview : We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with a strong background in data integration, data warehousing, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience working with tools and platforms essential for data engineering, including Fivetran, Redshift, Airflow, Python, AWS Glue, Athena, and SQL- . Key Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Fivetran, Airflow, and AWS Glue to streamline data integration and ensure data consistency. - Optimize and maintain data storage solutions in Amazon Redshift and AWS Athena. - Implement best practices for data processing and automation, utilizing Python for custom scripts and workflows. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs, provide insights, and support data-driven decisions. - Ensure data security, quality, and compliance across database platforms, including DB2 and SQL-based systems. Required Skills : - 4 years of experience- in data engineering with proficiency in Fivetran, Airflow, DB2, AWS Glue, Redshift, Athena, Python, and SQL. - Strong expertise in ETL processes, data warehousing, and automation. - Experience in handling large datasets and optimizing data flow. - Solid understanding of the AWS ecosystem and its various services related to data engineering.
