UX Designer - User-Centered Design

Role : UX Designer Location : Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad Position Overview : We are seeking a skilled UX Designer to lead the creation of user-centered designs that meet both user needs and business objectives. The UX Designer will conduct user research, develop prototypes, and work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance product usability and overall user satisfaction. Key Responsibilities : - Plan and conduct research activities, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and contextual inquiries, to gather insights about user behaviors, needs, and pain points - Use a user-centered design approach to solve complex problems, create wireframes, low-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes - Organize and facilitate usability tests on prototypes and live products, analyze results, and iterate on designs based on user feedback - Analyze research findings to identify trends and insights, creating user personas, journey maps, and other frameworks to communicate user goals and pain points - Develop user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes to visualize design solutions and test ideas with users and stakeholders - Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align design solutions with business goals and technical requirements - Document research findings, design decisions, and usability test outcomes to inform stakeholders and support future design iterations - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and methods to enhance research and design practices and bring new ideas to the team Requirements : - Bachelor s Degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field - 3 years of experience in UX design and user research - Strong command of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar - Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and data synthesis - Familiarity with user-centered design principles and a solid understanding of usability and interaction design - Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex findings to a wide range of audiences - Strong analytical skills with an ability to translate data into design strategies (ref:hirist.tech)
