LOAN IQ Support Engineer

Job Title: LoanIQ Support Engineer Department: Corporate Investment and Transaction Banking Reports to: Head of Core Banking Platforms Overview of the Department / Section: CITB provides a full IT service to all areas of the MUSI business, and other entities within MUFG. LoanIQ, third party banking platform used to optimize, automate and develop MUFG's lending business. Coverage includes structured, project, syndicated, bilateral & asset based lending. The LoanIQ project is tasked to deliver a replacement for existing Loan EUC processing with a standardized, 3rd party Loan Trading platform hosted on premise. The project team will work with external consultancies and the vendor (Finastra) to deliver the software to the business users and provide additional value to their daily activity around Loan processing. Main Purpose of the role: The LoanIQ Support Consultant role will provide technical support to project deliverables, including liaising with application and Infrastructure teams, driving implementation of technical responsibilities as part of planned project deliverables and seeking to assist across project obligations to add value throughout the development, testing and implementation stages of the project. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support and guidance to user and stakeholders regarding the LoanIQ platform Troubleshoot complex LoanIQ system issues Document troubleshooting steps and maintenance procedures for future reference and knowledge sharing LoanIQ production and non production environnent maintenance Good understanding of LoanIQ infrastructure and setup Experience working with LoanIQ batch and be able to resolve batch related issues Building and enhancing documentation required for production support Work with DevOps team to integrate LoanIQ with CI/CD process Should be able to respond to production incidents quickly and resolve issues within the SLA. Incident and problem management process during production incidents to be followed and adhered to Skills & Experience: At least 2 years of experience with LoanIQ Platform Have a good understanding of Finastra Loan IQ data model/tables Good knowledge of SQL Familiarity with Windows operating systems Able to work with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements Optional Be able to write shell/batch scripts Knowledge on Datanet, LoanIQSDK and DCT would be an added advantage. Personal Requirements: Robust interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaboratively interact with various levels of the organization Motivated contributor with ability to take initiative, set priorities, work efficiently/accurately within an atmosphere of frequently changing priorities. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills.
