Python Developer - Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence

Position Purpose : We are seeking an experienced AI Python Developer with a strong background in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Optical Character Recognition (OCR). The successful candidate will have over 4 years of experience in developing and deploying AI/ML solutions, with a particular emphasis on Python programming. This role involves working on cutting-edge projects, developing innovative solutions, and contributing to the advancement of our AI capabilities. Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models and algorithms using Python. - Implement and optimize OCR solutions for extracting data from various document types. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Conduct data preprocessing, data analysis, and feature engineering. - Evaluate and improve the accuracy of AI models, ensuring they meet performance and reliability standards. - Integrate AI solutions into existing systems and workflows. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, ML, and OCR technologies. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. - Document processes, models, and code. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Technical & Behavioral Competencies : Qualifications : - Bachelors/Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience : - Minimum of 4 years of experience in AI, ML, Python, and OCR Skills : - Proficiency in Python and its libraries (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch). - Strong knowledge of AI/ML algorithms and techniques. - Experience with OCR technologies and tools (Tesseract, OCR APIs, etc.). - Familiarity with data preprocessing and data visualization tools. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) is a plus. - Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control (Git) and agile Skills : - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. - Intellectually curious and eager to learn new technologies and methodologies. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with natural language processing (NLP) techniques. - Familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus. - Involvement in AI/ML community or open-source contributions. - Knowledge of deploying AI models in production environments. - Understanding of computer vision techniques.
