If so, we want to hear from you We seek a skilled Web Developer proficient in WordPress and Laravel to develop, manage, and enhance our website. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both platforms and a passion for creating seamless and efficient user experiences. He will be responsible for utilizing his expertise in WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Laravel to create dynamic websites and engaging experiences for visitors. Key Responsibilities : - Customize WordPress themes and plugins to achieve the desired design and user experience. - Write clean, secure, and efficient code, following best practices. - Experience with accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and markup validity. - Troubleshoot and debug website issues to ensure smooth operation. - Design, develop, and maintain website using the Laravel framework. - Develop and implement new website features and functionalities using WordPress as the primary CMS. - Optimize websites for speed, scalability, and security. - Collaborate with the design, content, and SEO teams to implement and update website features. - Ensure high performance and robustness of websites and web applications. - Troubleshoot and resolve website and application issues promptly. - Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in web development. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. - Proven experience as a Web Developer with a strong understanding of web development principles and a strong portfolio of WordPress and Laravel projects. - Proficiency in PHP and experience with a framework like Laravel as well as front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. - In-depth knowledge of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins. - Strong understanding of the Laravel framework, including Eloquent ORM, Blade templates, and Laravel Mix. - Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations. - Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development. - Knowledge of SEO best practices. - Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills and attention to detail. - Experience with web hosting environments and deployment processes. - Familiarity with modern build tools and development workflows. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills and Ability to work independently. - Experience with building responsive websites. - Must apply best practices regarding website security, scalability, and maintenance. - Knowledge of hosting websites on AWS is a big plus (ref:hirist.tech)
