Job Title : Oracle PL/SQL Developer Experience : 7 Years Location : Pune/Chennai/Bangalore (Hybrid) Employment Type : Canarys FTE Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer with 7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle database applications using PL/SQL, ensuring optimal performance and quality. Knowledge of Unix and AWS (RDS, Athena, S3) is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities : Database Development : - Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database applications using the PL/SQL programming language. - Create and optimize database schemas, stored procedures, functions, and triggers. Performance Optimization : - Analyze and tune SQL queries and PL/SQL code to enhance database performance. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to database performance and code efficiency. Testing and Quality Assurance : - Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality, accuracy, and performance of PL/SQL code. Problem-Solving and Debugging : - Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues promptly to minimize downtime. Collaboration and Documentation : - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Document database designs, schemas, and processes to ensure clarity and consistency. Optional Skills : - Utilize Unix for scripting and automation to support database applications. - Leverage AWS services such as RDS, Athena, and S3 for cloud-based data solutions. Qualifications and Skills : Mandatory Skills : - 7 years of hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL development. - Proficiency in designing and optimizing complex database schemas. - Expertise in stored procedures, triggers, functions, and performance tuning. - Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for PL/SQL applications. Good-to-Have Skills : - Experience with Unix scripting and automation. - Familiarity with AWS services (RDS, Athena, S3) for cloud database solutions.
