AWS Architect - Cloud Infrastructure

Job Description : Sr. Cloud Architect (AWS) Location : Noida, India Working Hours : 7:00 AM- 4:00 PM PST Employment Type : Full time Salary : Negotiable Experience : 12-15 years Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based infrastructure using AWS DevOps practices. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design solutions that meet commercial needs. - Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. - Ensure data security through implementation of best practices and compliance with industry standards. - Manage projects from initiation to delivery, including creating project plans, setting milestones, and tracking progress. - Setup, deploy and manage Infrastructure, application and Databases on AWS. - Configure centralized configuration management using tools like Chef/OpsWorks, Puppet, Ansible etc - Knowledge of containerization (Docker, ECS) & Orchestration on Container (Kubernetes, Openswam etc) - Implement automated backups & monitoring. - Configure automated alerts/alarms and act on any outages/incidents. - Troubleshoot complex issues related to cloud infrastructure management. Technical Skills : - Coming from a strong technical background in AWS Cloud - Excellent technical, analytical and project management skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Good leadership and motivational skills - AWS cloud (VPC, IAM, Network Security, AWS Lambda, RDS, DevSecOps on AWS, EKS, ECS, AZ, Cloud Watch, Datadog, Security Policies, Building the architecture on AWS, Terraform, Various AWS Key services like: SNS, SQS, IAM, Cognito, CDN, Load Balancers, VPC, Subnets, Multi account deployment architecture on cloud, Sizing of the resources on AWS cloud, Terraform scripting. - Expert into low level details of the sizing, configurations, and the costing of the various AWS services. - AWS Certified Good to Have : - Knowledge of other cloud platforms like Azure, GCP etc. - Design, setup and configuration of multi-cloud environments - Certifications on other cloud platforms is a plus Interpersonal Skills : - Willingness and acumen to learn and adopt new technologies/enhancements - Positive attitude towards work and team - Ability to break complex problems into pieces and approach solutions. - Ability to accept new challenges in the role. - Ability to independently work on complex projects related to services with little or no assistance from others. - Ability to understand the business requirements thoroughly and convert those requirements into proper technical solutions to achieve the required goals. - Able to identify the gaps in the processes and propose appropriate changes required for improvement. - Able to identify new opportunities for technological improvements and as well optimally utilize the existing used features (ref:hirist.tech)
