Key Responsibilities : - Design and develop comprehensive automated test scripts for ServiceNow applications using ATF. - Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to gather requirements for testing. - Enhance existing automated test strategies to improve coverage and efficiency. - Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize automated testing processes. - Create detailed documentation of testing procedures and results. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. - Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipeline for continuous delivery. - Maintain knowledge of best practices in ServiceNow and ATF development. - Adapt test automation strategies based on application changes and stakeholder feedback. - Conduct regular trainings and workshops for team members on automated testing. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and ServiceNow best practices. - Develop and maintain test data sets for various scenarios. - Debug and fix test failures in a timely manner. - Work with the QA team to align testing strategies. - Report on testing progress and communicate issues to project managers. Required Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with specialized knowledge of ATF. - Strong proficiency in JavaScript and scripting languages. - Experience with API integrations and third-party application interactions. - Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in a Scrum team. - Familiarity with ServiceNow modules and platform capabilities. - Understanding of software testing principles and best practices. - Previous experience with automated testing tools and frameworks. - Stable background in troubleshooting and problem-solving in development environments. - Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. - Experience with version control systems, such as Git. - Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality outcomes. - Ability to adapt to changing priorities and learning new technologies. - ServiceNow certifications such as Certified Application Developer are highly desirable. - Strong analytical and logical thinking abilities. - Experience in performance testing would be an added advantage (ref:hirist.tech)
