Principal Engineer - Full Stack Development

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer, Software who will play a critical role in leading the design, development, and delivery of technically advanced solutions, particularly for medical devices. This hands-on engineering role involves collaborating with other technical leaders to define architecture, requirements, and implementation strategies that meet our customers' needs. The ideal candidate is passionate about using technology to positively impact patient outcomes while driving technical innovation within our organization. You will be responsible for translating user needs into system-level designs, integrating cutting-edge technologies, and mentoring junior engineers. Additionally, you will maintain a deep understanding of the industry landscape, contribute to regulatory standards, and collaborate effectively across departments to deliver best-in-class software solutions. Technical Skills: - Ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly software solutions with clear navigation. - Proficiency in full-stack development, including front-end and back-end technologies. - Strong understanding of API integrations, RESTful services, and third-party libraries. - Expertise in secure coding practices, data encryption, and authentication/authorization mechanisms. - Experience with web security practices to safeguard sensitive data. Programming Languages and Tools : - Strong coding skills in JAVA, SPRING, PYTHON, JAVASCRIPT, CSS, ANGULAR, RESTAPI, AWS, PostgreSQL. - Experience designing new components and applying various software design patterns. - Familiarity with integrated development environments (IDEs) and tools for static/dynamic analysis, memory management, and code coverage. Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) : - Lead the adoption of SDLC best practices, including strategic project planning and guidance. - Experience in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and traceability best practices. - Provide accurate estimates for project timelines, resources, and code implementation. - Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in software development, particularly for medical devices.
