Job Title : Oracle Developer Location : Chennai Experience : 8 to 12 Years Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Developer with extensive experience in Oracle and PL/SQL development to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database programming and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL code, including procedures, packages, functions, and triggers. - Write complex SQL queries to meet business requirements. - Participate in development projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality code. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions. - Identify and resolve bugs in existing PL/SQL code. - Optimize queries and PL/SQL code for performance improvements. - Lead a team of developers, providing guidance and support in code development and best practices. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback. - Analyze business requirements and prepare comprehensive technical documentation. - Maintain up-to-date documentation for all developed solutions. - Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide insights. - Foster strong relationships with peers to facilitate smooth project execution. - Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in Oracle and PL/SQL development. - Proficient in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL (12C / 19C). - Strong experience with database development projects. - Proven ability to lead and mentor junior developers. - Experience in working independently on complex programming tasks. - Solid understanding of performance tuning techniques for SQL and PL/SQL. - Strong analytical and programmatic skills to dissect complex business requirements. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders - Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and debugging. - Experience using collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) for project management and documentation. - Familiarity with Oracle tools and utilities e.g., SQL-Plus, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports. - Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript) for integration purposes. - Experience with Agile methodologies and participation in Scrum teams.
