Position : Sr. IT Infrastructure Consultant (Legacy & Azure) Experience : 8 to 10 Yrs Job Location : Remote , India Job Title : Senior IT Infrastructure Azure Consultant (Legacy and Azure Cloud Infrastructure) Job Description : We are seeking a minimum 8-year experienced IT Infrastructure Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both legacy and modern infrastructure systems, with a focus on optimization, modernization, and security. Key Responsibilities : 1. Legacy Infrastructure Support : - Provide expert support for existing database systems, networks, and other legacy infrastructure - Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in legacy environments 2. Cloud Infrastructure Management : - Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions, particularly in Azure - Ensure smooth migration of systems and data to cloud environments 3. Legacy System Decommissioning : - Plan and execute the sunset/decommission of legacy data systems - Develop and implement effective data archival and retrieval methodologies 4. Security and Business Continuity : - Enhance network security measures across all infrastructure - Develop and maintain robust business continuity and disaster recovery plans Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field - Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure management - Strong knowledge of legacy Infrastructure systems and network technologies - Proven experience in cloud infrastructure, particularly Azure - Expertise in system consolidation, and legacy modernization - Strong understanding of network security, DR planning, and business continuity strategies - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically - Strong communication skills and ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Preferred : - Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, CISSP) - Experience in healthcare or insurance services industries (ref:hirist.tech)
