Python Developer - Backend Web Technologies

Responsibilities : - Analyze both the business and technical requirements for a software program and develop design solutions and task specification to meet those needs - Design and implement scalable, maintainable, well documented, and high-quality solutions to solve customer problems/requirements - Write unit tests with complete code coverage. Perform dev testing to ensure minimal bug slippages to QA - Work closely with other team members, project managers and stakeholders to ensure that all requirements are met and work as per specification - Strictly follow the project schedule and the team s software development process - Provide support for UAT activities as well as production support including fixing of any defects - Communicated and coordinated with other extended team members and customers around the world - Mentor new as well as junior team members in the team Technical Requirements : - Must have 3 years of professional working experience in Web development using Python - Knowledge on relational databases (MySQL and PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (Cassandra and MongoDB) - Good understanding of microservices and SOA architecture and associated principles - Knowledge of software best practices like Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI) Good To Have : - Working knowledge of Celery and Rabbit MQ - A solid understanding of and some experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like NodeJS, AngularJS, jQuery and Bootstrap. - Excellent knowledge of object caches such as Memcached, Redis and knowledge of how to design, tune and optimize SQL queries and caching strategies - Knowledge and experience in building distributed, asynchronous task systems - Operating knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS especially EMR, EC2, S3) (ref:hirist.tech)
