Tableau Developer

1. Data Modelling : - Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable data models to support reporting and analytical requirements. - Ensure Data Integrity and Consistency throughout the data modeling process. - Sound understanding of Relational Database, Schema, Normalization, Slowly Changing Dimensions etc 2. Tableau Proficiency : - Create compelling and interactive visualizations using Tableau to present complex data in an intuitive and visually appealing manner. - Extensive experience in developing, maintaining, and managing Tableau-driven dashboards and analytics. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into actionable insights. Develop and maintain a library of standard and ad-hoc reports using Tableau. - Monitor and troubleshoot Tableau dashboards and reports to identify and resolve performance issues in a timely manner. - Define the continuous improvement plan and lifecycle for the reporting, including the process for identifying new requirements, developing new features, and retiring old products 3. SQL Expertise : - Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases. - Utilize SQL skills to perform data analysis and data transformations. 4. Communication : - Consult the business in the identification and definition of business KPIs across all the organization. - Shape the BI processes to identify the key metrics that are important for data-driven decision making and make the BI processes easy to use for both technical and non-technical users - Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide data-driven solutions. Preferred Skills : 1. Working knowledge of Tableau administration/architecture. 2. Working experience of Data Preparation (Extract, Transform and Load) 3. Good to have Programming Language (R, Python) skills 4. Experience in Life Science Domain (ref:hirist.tech)
