Python Backend Developer

General Description : Product Impact & Scope of Innovation : - Responsible for development of effective and scalable cloud-based platforms using Python, Rust, JavaScript/Typescript and Cloud services. - Collaborate with teams involved in the design and development of Software test frameworks to enable the verification and validation of customer facing products. - KDT technical SME Technical Expertise : - Proven track record working on distributed web software systems at scale. - Proven experience architecting and developing scalable backend systems. - Proven experience architecting and developing scalable backend systems. - Proficient on Python programming, frameworks such as Django, code testing, best practices.- - For example, equivalent to PCPP2- level or higher. - Experience on JavaScript programming and frameworks such as React. - Proven use of design patterns, functional and object-oriented programming, APIs, formed approaches on how to deliver clean and well-structured code. - Proven experience with a range of cloud providers such as GCP & AWS. - Cloud implementations of messaging/event buses, Containerization, Kubernetes, Microservices and Serverless. - Proven experience on design and maintenance of database systems such as Postgres & Redis. - Strong architectural mindset and design thinking practices. - Experience on migrations of monolithic applications into serverless microservices. Essential : - Proven track record working on distributed web software systems at scale. - Proficient on Python programming, frameworks such as Django, code testing, best practices. For example, equivalent to PCPP2- level or higher. - Proven use of design patterns, functional and object-oriented programming, APIs, formed approaches on how to deliver clean and well-structured code. - Proven experience with a range of cloud providers such as GCP & AWS. - Experience on design and maintenance of database systems - Postgres & Redis. - Proven KDT Technical Expert - Excellent communication and time management skills, and ability to effectively articulate communications across business and technical stakeholders. - Empathetic on all interactions with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders. - Strong teamwork and leadership with the ability to foster collaboration across teams. - Extensive experience in root cause analysis, debugging system failures. - Proficient in problem solving, root cause analysis and debugging.
