We are looking for Sr Azure DevOps Engineer - Remote Position : Sr Azure DevOps Engineer (IT Infrastructure Consultant) Experience : 10 to 12 Yr Location : Remote, India We are seeking a minimum 8-year experienced IT Infrastructure Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both legacy and modern infrastructure systems, with a focus on optimization, modernization, and security. Azure DevOps & GitHub DevSecOps Architect will lead the design, implementation, and administration of our CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub. In this dual role, you will ensure that our development processes are streamlined, efficient, and secure while also architecting robust CI/CD solutions that support our global teams. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Azure DevOps, GitHub, and modern software development practices. Responsibilities : - Architectural Design : Design and implement scalable and secure CI/CD architectures using Azure DevOps and GitHub, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational requirements. - Administration : Manage and maintain Azure DevOps and GitHub environments, including user access, permissions, and repository management. - Pipeline Development : Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines that support automated testing, integration, and deployment across various environments. - Collaboration : Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective CI/CD solutions. Monitoring and Reporting : Implement monitoring and reporting tools to track pipeline performance, deployment metrics, and overall efficiency, providing insights to stakeholders. Security Practices : Ensure that security best practices are integrated into CI/CD processes, including access controls, code scanning, and compliance checks. Training and Support : Provide training and support to development teams on Azure DevOps, GitHub, and CI/CD best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Continuous Improvement : Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for enhancements to tools and processes. Key Responsibilities : Legacy Infrastructure Support : - Provide expert support for existing database systems, networks, and other legacy infrastructure - Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in legacy environments 2. Cloud Infrastructure Management - Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions, particularly in Azure - Ensure smooth migration of systems and data to cloud environments 3. Legacy System Decommissioning - Plan and execute the sunset/decommission of legacy data systems - Develop and implement effective data archival and retrieval methodologies 4. Security and Business Continuity - Enhance network security measures across all infrastructure - Develop and maintain robust business continuity and disaster recovery plans Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field - Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure management - Strong knowledge of legacy Infrastructure systems and network technologies - Proven experience in cloud infrastructure, particularly Azure - Expertise in system consolidation, and legacy modernization - Strong understanding of network security, DR planning, and business continuity strategies - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically - Strong communication skills and ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Preferred : - Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, CISSP) - Experience in healthcare or insurance services industries Relevant certifications : - Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator (AZ-104) - Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) - Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) - VMware Certified Professional - Esxi 5.0 - ITIL V3 Certified - Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) - HCL Certified SRE - Certified System Center Operation Manager 2007/2012 R2 (ref:hirist.tech)
