Java Backend Developer

Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable and secure Java backend applications. - Implement RESTful APIs for efficient data exchange with other systems. - Utilize cloud-based technologies to deploy and manage backend services. - Design and manage NoSQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval. - (Optional) Build applications utilizing real-time data processing engines. - Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code according to best practices. - Develop and maintain unit test cases for Java components. - Collaborate with the team using Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban. - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the Java ecosystem. Qualifications : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. - 3 years of experience in Java development with a focus on backend systems. - Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals like data structures, algorithms, and time complexity. - Experience with Linux, Java EE, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and distributed systems. - Experience with building and deploying RESTful APIs. - Experience with NoSQL databases (e., Cassandra, MongoDB). - (Preferred) Experience with real-time data processing engines (e., Apache Kafka, Apache Spark). - Experience writing unit test cases using frameworks like JUnit or Mockito. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills (ref:hirist.tech)
