Solution Architect - Java

Key Responsibilities : - You'll be responsible for working with development teams to make sure that the banking platform meets the requirements to ensure that the products remains high-performing, scalable, and reliable for our customers, borrowers, and investors - Work with our architecture community to ensure solutions are aligned with the overall architecture principles and Contribute to our client's banking platform strategy - Work with the engineering team to make sure the solutions are developed as designed and help solve issues that may come up during the development process - Work with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with corporate standards - Stay current with banking (deposits, loans, and cards) industry, advancements, and initiatives Required Skills : - Extensive experience in backend development. - Strong knowledge of Java, RESTful APIs, Microservice design, and how to design service to service interactions. - Good understanding of technologies driving front-end SPA development, including JavaScript, Express/Node.js, React.js, and new frameworks like Node.js. Angular experience a plus. - Proven experience with database technologies such as SQL, MySQL, or Oracle. - Solid understanding of cloud services (AWS preferred) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes). - Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Experience in leading design and code reviews, ensuring best practices are followed. About You : - You are hands-on, have 10 years' of software development / architecture experience, have a strong technical background, can lean in to build/test solutions and investigate issues with the team. - You have significant experience leading engineering solutions, with current understanding of stack and common projects - You love to be surrounded by talented and friendly people who enjoy coming to work every day - You have a Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science or related field (ref:hirist.tech)
