Quality Engineer - Telecom Testing

Key Responsibilities : - Prepare specialized test setup / environments on Linux - Understand the product and specific release requirement thoroughly and prepare test plan document. - Debugging the failed cases and ensuring that right checks are added to take care of the failures. - Provide timely update of test results and defect status to QE lead/manager. - Take full responsibility or accountability of the assigned task and publish progress/risk/issues to immediate lead / manager / dev team. - Interact with customer support team and provide them the due support to execute the UAT testcases. - Perform UI/UX, Functional, non-functional, API, Database, Regression, Performance, Security testing as per the need of the release. Essential : - 3 to 6 years of experience in telecom roaming domain protocol testing. - Strong working experience in the areas of Diameter, SIP, GTP, MAP, ISUP and CAMEL. - Strong experience in call generation tools Seagull, EAST, SIPp, IXIA, Spirent, Tektronix, etc. - Working knowledge on various database SQL / PGSQL / Couchbase/ ORACLE. - Very good knowledge on complex Unix / Linux commands and scripting - Must be a knowledgeable person passionate about testing and debugging complex issues - Experience in Setting up E2E Test Environments for 2G/3G/4G/5G Test Labs (ref:hirist.tech)
