Backend Engineer - Python/Django/Flask

Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable backend services using Python and various technologies/frameworks (e. g., Django, Flask, FastAPI). - Collaborate closely with front-end engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new features and services. - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established best practices and guidelines. - Optimize backend systems for performance, reliability, and scalability by utilizing appropriate data structures, algorithms, and design patterns. - Debug and troubleshoot complex issues, and provide efficient and effective solutions to address them. - Participate in code and design reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to established standards. - Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company's backend infrastructure remains modern and competitive. - Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation, including technical specifications, API documentation, and system architecture diagrams. - Assist in the mentorship and development of junior engineers by providing guidance, constructive feedback, and sharing : - Proficient in Python with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in backend development. - Strong experience with at least one Python web framework (e. g., Django, Flask, FastAPI). - Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices. - Familiarity with database design, management, and optimization (e. g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL). - Experience with version control systems (e. g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. - Knowledge of containerization technologies (e. g., Docker) and orchestration platforms (e. g., Kubernetes) is a plus. - Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team. - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to team members and stakeholders.
