Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual & Automation Testing

Quality Assurance Strategy : - Develop and implement testing strategies and methodologies to ensure high-quality software products. - Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and define test plans. Automation Testing : - Design, write, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Java to improve testing efficiency. - Maintain and enhance automated test frameworks for regression testing and continuous integration. Mobile Testing : - Conduct mobile application testing using Appium to ensure functionality and performance on various -devices and platforms. - Test mobile applications for usability, compatibility, and responsiveness. Manual Testing : - Perform manual testing to identify defects and ensure that applications meet functional and non-functional requirements. - Create detailed test cases, test scripts, and documentation for manual testing efforts. API Testing : - Conduct API testing to verify the functionality, performance, and security of APIs. - Use tools like Postman or similar for testing and validating API responses. Defect Management : - Identify, document, and track defects using issue-tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution by development teams. - Perform regression testing to verify that defects are resolved and do not impact other functionalities. Collaboration and Communication : - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to ensure alignment on quality standards. - Participate in meetings to discuss project status, testing results, and improvement opportunities. Continuous Improvement : - Stay updated with the latest testing tools, techniques, and best practices to continuously improve testing processes and methodologies. - Contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions and mentoring junior QA team members.
