Embedded Linux Development Architect - Kernel/Device Driver

Job Description : The Embedded Linux Development Architect will provide architectural vision and technical leadership for embedded Linux projects, designing solutions that drive innovation and efficiency. You will work closely with development teams, product management, and other stakeholders to develop scalable and robust Linux-based systems. Key Responsibilities : - Lead architectural design, development, and strategy formulation for embedded Linux projects. - Define technical standards and ensure best practices for kernel and driver development. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for strategic planning and roadmap development. - Optimize Linux drivers and kernel modules for performance and reliability. - Provide technical consultation on emerging technologies and Linux system improvements. - Lead and mentor engineers, fostering a collaborative development environment. Mandatory Skills : - 10 years of experience in embedded Linux development, focusing on kernel and driver development. - Proficiency in C programming with a solid understanding of Linux internals. - Deep expertise in the following areas : - Graphics : DRM/KMS, Vulkan, Mesa, OpenCL. - Audio : ALSA ASoC, audio protocol experience (I2S/TDM). - Virtualization : Xen, KVM, or QNX Hypervisor. - Experience in system debugging, IPC, and DMA driver programming. - Strong experience with open-source contributions and community engagement (ref:hirist.tech)
