Primary Purpose and Main Responsibilities
- Protect Goodyear associates, contractors, visitors, property, and brand ("Our Good Name").
- Manage all site security operations, investigations, supply chain security services, travel safety initiatives, and business continuity initiatives throughout Brazil.
- Maintain C-TPAT (U.S. Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) and AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) program compliance.
- Manage security training program for Brazil.
- Manage all 3rd party security providers, including but not limited to, uniformed security services, cargo security tracking/monitoring services, secure transportation services, and security consulting services.
- Responsible for conducting workplace investigations and security assessments, in coordination with Goodyear Global Investigations & Security Services.
- Serve as liaison with municipal (local), state, and national government agencies, including Police, Fire, Investigations, and Emergency Response, in addition to other private entities. Provide periodic safety/security awareness training to Brazil-based associates, contractors, and expatriates. Actively participate in Business Continuity process.
Education and Certifications
- Required: Security/Law Enforcement/ Military Experience
- Desired: Administration, Security management
Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar positions
- Experience working in a law enforcement, military, and/or security management capacity
