Job Description

We are looking for a SALES MANAGER to join our team.

Based in Sorocaba, Brazil, you will be responsible for driving sales in major telecom operators. It requires identifying and engaging future opportunities, establishing influential relationships, and forecasting volume projections aligned with customer forecasts. The objective is to support decision-making processes through result analysis and monitoring to achieve targets. The position also entails developing and executing Account Plans to enhance market share in target markets, anticipating strategic decisions, and defining tactical actions for plan execution. Gathering market intelligence to assess competition and suggest measures for a competitive edge is crucial. Additionally, expanding Prysmian's presence with key customers through stakeholder mapping and relationship building is essential. Effective communication with various departments and conducting commercial and technical meetings within the client organization are necessary to succeed in the role. To ensure the efficient allocation of resources and optimize financial performance, it is crucial to proactively manage the backlog.

· Engage early in future opportunities with the customer by understanding their internal processes and business needs.

· Forecast the required customer demands based on their predictions and ensure that purchase orders are received and processed within the deadlines.

· Support business decision-making through scenario analysis and market information (competitor mapping, pricing, critical terms and conditions, technical specifications, raw material costs, etc.), aiming for a strategic positioning against the competition.

· Develop and execute Account Plans for proper customer portfolio planning in the respective year.

· Increase Prysmian's presence with key clients through stakeholder mapping and building political alliances in different departments such as Engineering, Operations, Finance, Planning, Logistics, and Purchasing.

· Plan and conduct technical/executive (C-level) meetings, workshops, visits to Prysmian factories, among others, at various levels within the client's organization.

· Proactively manage the existing backlog to ensure efficient resource allocation and optimize financial performance.

Who are we looking for?

· Complete Higher Education (Telecommunications, Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering). MBA or Post Graduation are desired.

· Minimum experience of 5 years in key account management for large telecommunication operators.

· Demonstrate administrative aptitude with executive report, complex Excel spreadsheets (be HANDS ON), basic knowledge in P&L management and priority management.

· Be resilient and remain calm and professional when dealing with stressful circumstances (good emotional intelligence).

· Proven sales track record in large projects in Telecom operators

· Proactive and excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and teamwork. Experience in team management as a plus.

· Passion for learning and personal growth.

· Solid technical background on Telecom ecosystem to influence customers (Spec-in).

· Knowledge in Power BI and Sales Force is a plus.

· Advanced Spanish (desirable) and English (mandatory).
