Project Engineer

We are working with a tier 1 main contractor who are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join their team on a full time basis working on the United Utilities Water Framework. As the Project Engineer you will support the project delivery teams by managing concept development and detailed design solutions based on client and site-specific requirements for water and wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects with a value of between £1million to £30million.

Key Responsibilities

* Coordinate the Design through the ECI Phase working with the Project Manager

* Working with the team to participate in VE, R&O and feasibility studies

* Coordinate multidiscipline supply chain and Designers – working with PM’s & M&E support

* Attend design meetings with clients and internally

* Help transition from ECI & Detailed Design Phase to project delivery team

* Ensuring delivery teams are aware of Handover requirements and preparation

* Support the Delivery Team in achieving Handover

* Effectively co ordinating issuing of all documents required for Completion

What do we need from you?

* A Civils background, preferably with MEICA and Water experience

* CSCS

* Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent

* SSSTS or SMSTS

* Proficient with IT specifically full Office 365 suite – CAD software experience or similar

* Full UK Driving License

* First Aid (desirable)

* Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Salary for this role will be dependent upon experience and discussed upon shortlisting
