Job Description
Purpose:
Manage and implement traffic management schemes.
Ensure effective traffic engineering solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to meet statutory and legal obligations.
Provide expert advice on traffic management issues.
Support the development and training of junior staff.
Utilize CAD software for designing traffic management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Lead and manage traffic management projects from conception to completion.
Service Delivery: Develop and implement customer-focused traffic solutions, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
CAD Design: Create and review traffic management designs using CAD software.
Communication: Liaise with residents, stakeholders, and other parties to provide information and resolve issues.
Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of traffic management policies and strategies.
Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
Degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in traffic management and engineering.
Proficiency in CAD software for traffic design.
Strong knowledge of traffic regulations and standards.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
