Electrical Controls Engineer

I'm recruiting for an R&D business in Tamworth who are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to develop the next generation of their automotive and industrial product range.
The work involves production of controls software (specifically for CAN/LIN applications) and schematics for associated hardware control systems inlcuding motors, compressors and heaters.
ROLE: Electrical Controls Engineer
LOCATION: Tamworth
SALARY: up to £60,000
HOURS: 38 hours over 4 day week (Friday off)
Skills required for the Electrical Controls Engineer are:
* Electrical CAD packages (any considered - they use Solidworks Electrical)
* Software controls for CAN/LIN applications
* Labview proficiency
* Exposure to HV and LV systems (motors, compressors, heaters)
* Wokring with customers/suppliers for writing specifications
Beneficial skills are:
* Automotive background
* Thermal / HVAC systems understanding
Remote: some work can be done remotely
