Key Responsibilities:
* Hands-On Repairs: Troubleshoot and service daily plant machinery issues.
* Proactive Solutions: Collaborate with team members to create strategies for efficient operations and promote autonomous working.
* Emergency Response: Quickly address breakdowns and unplanned challenges.
* Contractor Management: Coordinate and oversee external service providers on-site.
* Maintenance Compliance: Assist with general maintenance duties, ensuring adherence to BRC standards.
* Performance Metrics: Compile KPIs to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Preventative Maintenance: Lead Planned Preventative Maintenance and conduct Root Cause Analysis.
* Asset and Risk Management: Focus on lifecycle costs, critical spares, and business continuity planning.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Experience in industrial mechanical maintenance, with electrical fault-finding expertise.
* Familiarity with pumps, pneumatics, and PLC systems is advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
* Recognized engineering qualifications; LEAN and FMCG experience is a plus.
* Flexibility in hours to meet the business’s needs.
