Job Description
We are looking to strengthen our Construction team with a General Foreman, Site based at Bamford WTW.
You will report directly to the Construction manager and your role will support the site team to coordinate the safe management of of work on one of our major projects ensuring HSQE, programme and budget requirements are met.
The team are about to extend working hours from 6am to 10pm daily (with some weekends). These shifts will be split to 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm (with 30 mins handover period).
Key responsibilities will include:
In conjunction with the Site Manager, co-ordinate and control site works.
Rigorously apply and enforce methods and controls to ensure the most effective and continuous use of the frameworks resources.
In conjunction with the Site Manager, appraise the security risk to all property under your control and install security levels commensurate to the relative values.
Actively support the Site Manager to maintain and enforce and apply safety standards as required by statute and in accordance with our safety, environmental & quality systems.
Evaluate method statements and risk assessments and ensure work on site is compliant to them
Ensure compliance to all HS&E policies and procedures
Be a visible presence on site and rigorously apply our high standards.

Essential
SMSTS/SSSTS
First Aid at Work
Experience within the water treatment industry (Non-Infrastructure)
Desirable
Confined space entry
Temp Works Supervisor
EUSR National Water Hygiene card.
