Job Description
Our client is a privately owned business established over 40 years ago, specialising in Groundworks, Civil Engineering and Infrastructure, due to the growth, the company is looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Working alongside a Senior QS
To work as a member of the team to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget to a very high standard.
Monthly CVR reporting
Sub contractor management of payments / accounts
Review of commercial gains / losses available to ensure commercial success of the project
Work closely with the site team, clients and professional consultants to understand the progress of the project
Procurement and management of the supply chainWhat you'll need:
Professional Qualification (preferred)
Prior experience delivering Groundworks / Civil Engineering projects
Residential project experience
Strong procurement skills
Excellent IT, analytical and communication skills
Ability to work autonomously
Demonstrable experience of working in and managing a team of SurveyorsWhat you'll get in return:
