Product Specialist

The Products team are an integral part of the Society as they design, test and deliver our savings and Mortgage products to meet our customers' needs and help us achieve our overall corporate plan.
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Product Manager in the design, testing and delivery of all new and existing Society products. This includes working with other teams across the Society.
Monitoring and reporting on the Savings and Mortgage markets to support product development and pricing and identify how changes in the market may impact the delivery of the Society's Corporate Plan.
Repricing mortgage and savings products by analysing the current rates, using market data and ensuring fair value is provided to all customers.
Being bold enough to put forward innovative ideas for new products. Identifying where changes can be made and where there needs to be adjustments made to the product range to align with our objectives and strategy and help drive these ideas forward.
Producing daily, monthly and ad-hoc data to track the performance of the Society's product range against the Corporate Plan.
Responding to product queries and resolving issues. This includes issues with system and communicating with the wider business to implement solutions.
Maintaining awareness of regulatory changes and how they impact our products, writing proposals and making changes where needed.What we're looking for:
We don't expect you to have experience to do the role, however we are looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow in a supportive organisation. It is important however that you have -
Excellent attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
Ambition with a desire to grow and develop in your career
Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
Good organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Salary between £25,000 - £35,000 per annum (FTE) depending on experience
