Job Title - Electrical Engineer
My client has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the team based on-site at their client’s large Campus, in south Cambridge, to deliver multi skilled services for Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive and minor life cycle works across our client’s site.
About The Role
The primary focus of this role will be to conduct planned preventative, multi-disciplined maintenance and reactive works to the buildings plant, equipment, and systems, as well as respond to site engineering emergencies on behalf of our clients.
Key Accountabilities:
* To carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to HVAC plant, including Reactive Maintenance and extra works/emergencies in accordance with the contract requirements
* Record all reactive and PPM tasks accurately and in detail using report sheets and ensure signed by the client weekly.
* Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared for all tasks conducted to provide safe working practices.
* Supervise subcontractors effectively.
* Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
Education:
* Electrical qualifications from a recognised institution (NVQ/C&Gs)
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* Building maintenance experience
