Job Description
We now have an exciting new opportunity for an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our fast growing and highly successful client that specialises in advanced, automated materials handling systems.
You should be able to provide a mechanical skills, ability along with a right first-time mentality and a proactive approach to identifying ways to improve the site’s performance.
The Ideal candidate will be tasked make sure all PPM and reactive maintenance are complete on a wide range automated materials handling equipment such as conveyors, sortation, and packaging machinery. Progression in electrical engineer would be on offer as progression.
Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum NVQ Level 3 / City and Guilds in an engineering discipline
Previous experience of working in an operational engineering role within a similar environment
shift work – 4 on 4 off days / nights
Familiar with basic hand tools such as spanners, screwdrivers, Allen keys
Excellent communication skills and customer focus
