Role Overview:
As a Production Operations Specialist, you will support the production planning team in managing schedules, tracking orders, and resolving data discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain production plan reports to reflect current priorities
Execute recommended shop orders based on production needs
Manage timelines and respond to enquiries regarding materials and orders
Identify and resolve shortages or issues with production orders
Process transactions related to materials and address discrepancies in data
Follow up on production status, addressing any queries as needed
Maintain accurate records for inventory and stock counts
Assist in analysing reports related to production and materials
Reserve and issue materials according to production schedules
Manage documentation related to inventory and stock movementsSkills and Qualifications:
Proficiency in ERP systems or similar software; experience with system upgrades is a plus
Understanding of production processes and material management
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous
