Multi Skilled Engineer – Mechanical Bias
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £36,000 - £40,000
Working Hours:
* Week 1: Mon – Fri, 7am – 4pm
* Week 2: 10am – 7pm
* Call-out: 1 in 5 (Tues to Sat) with a standby rate of £200. Engineer will work on Tuesdays and Saturdays when called out.
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Multi Skilled Engineer with a mechanical bias to join our dynamic team in Milton Keynes. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of various mechanical systems and equipment, including pumps, air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), boilers, and water treatment systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform reactive maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment.
* Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance.
* Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of service.
* Maintain accurate records of work carried out and parts used.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Engineer with a mechanical bias.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, AHUs, FCUs, and boilers.
* Familiarity with water treatment processes is an advantage.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
