Job Description
Treasury Analyst - Fixed Term Contract
Our client, a leading pharmaceutical organisation based in Inchinnan, is seeking a Treasury Analyst to join their dynamic corporate treasury team. As a Treasury Analyst, you will play a vital role in managing day-to-day corporate cash management operations, interacting with banks and intercompany partners, and ensuring the smooth running of the business.
Responsibilities:
Review daily cash positioning and allocate funds to various cash pools accordingly.
Independently work with banks to incorporate non-cash pool accounts into cash pools.
Lead the implementation and automation of bank payments.
Resolve cash and banking issues promptly and effectively.
Take ownership of bank documentation, including the opening and closing of bank accounts and cash pools.
Review monthly bank account analysis statements.
Act as the first point of contact for queries, taking ownership and providing timely resolutions.
Establish and maintain controls to ensure accuracy.
Perform month-end reconciliation of Entity In House Bank balances.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with entities.
Maintain process documentation to comply with audit requirements.
Become a super-user on the treasury workstation and troubleshoot system issues.
Support Treasury Projects.Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or certification.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of banking software and platforms, experience with treasury workstations is a plus.
At least five years of relevant accounting experience, including cash/treasury work and bank reconciliations.
Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Working Conditions:
This position is office-based with regular use of a computer and telephone.
Some travel may be required.
Flexibility to work outside of normal hours, as needed.
